CHOCO-NUT BROWNIES | |
1 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. light brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate, melted 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chunky peanut butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, with electric mixer at high, beat sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy; slowly add melted butter and flour mixture, and continue beating 2 minutes until thoroughly mixed. Place half the batter in another bowl. Stir in melted chocolate and chocolate chips into half of the batter, and peanut butter into the other half of batter until well combined. Spoon peanut butter batter into prepared pan, using fingertips to press batter evenly into pan. Carefully spoon chocolate batter on top of peanut butter layer, using finger tips to press batter evenly into pan. Bake 30-35 minutes until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. |
