SPLIT SECOND HASH 
1 1/4 lb. leftover beef roast
4 lg. potatoes, cooked
1 onion, chopped
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. gravy
2/3 c. grated cheese
1/2 to 3/4 c. French fried onions
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Trim excess fat off meat; cut meat into 1/4 inch cubes. Cut potatoes into chunks the same size as meat. Cook and stir onion in butter until light brown; stir in meat until hot.

In a clean skillet, brown potatoes in butter, then mix with meat and season with salt and pepper. Heat gravy in potato pan, then pour over meat and potatoes. Sprinkle cheese, then French fried onions on meat mixture. Broil for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
