ROAST BEEF 
4 1/2 lb. roast of beef (fine for rib roast)

Mix together:

1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt

Rub the mixture well into the roast. Place in roasting pan with no cover. Do not add water.

For 4 1/2 pound roast well done, bake at 200 degrees for 6 1/2 hours.
