PRUNE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. ground walnuts (optional)
2 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. prunes
1 c. prune juice

Sift all ingredients, add eggs, prunes and juice, oil and beat well. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Serve with hot lemon sauce or brown sugar frosting.
