STRAWBERRY PIE 
PASTRY:

1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. milk

Combine oil and milk and add to dry ingredients. Blend and pat into 9-inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. water
2 tbsp. strawberry jello
1 pt. strawberries

Mix and boil until clear. Add 2 tablespoons strawberry jello and red coloring. Let cool a little and add 1 pint of sliced strawberries. Then place in baked crust. Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream or topping.
