SWEDISH HARD BREAD 
3 c. white flour
2 c. rye flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or a bit more
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix as for pie crust. Then add 2 1/4 cups water. Add white flour to form pie dough consistency. Roll as thin as you can handle. Cut in pieces to put on cookie sheet. Bake in 300 degree oven until bread looks golden brown but not burned. Cut or break in eating size pieces.
