CHEESE APPLE CRISP 
4 med. tart apples
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. grated cheese
Whipped cream

Pare, core and slice apples into a greased pie pan. Add water and lemon juice. Mix sugar, cinnamon, flour and salt together in a bowl. Add butter, work in until crumbly. Stir grated cheese in lightly. Spread crumbs over apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender and crust is crisp. Cut and serve with spoonful of whipped cream.
