CONEY ISLAND HAMBURGS 
2 lg. hamburg
1 egg
Dash of salt and pepper
1/2 c. bread crumbs

SAUCE:

1/2 c. water
1 c. ketchup
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 lg. onion slice
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper

Mix hamburg, egg, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs together. Make patties and then brown in pan; set aside. Mix all ingredients together to make a sauce. Heat until it comes to a boil, then add hamburg patties. Simmer about 15 minutes, then serve. Can be frozen.
