PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. butter, softened
Confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pumpkin
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. On sheet of waxed paper, sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.

In large bowl, combine pumpkin, granulated sugar, milk, eggs and butter; beat until well blended. Add flour mixture, beating just until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

Cool completely on wire rack. Before serving, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut into thin slices. Makes 1 loaf.
