COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 c. milk
5 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can Angel Flake Coconut

Beat sugar and Crisco until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating all the time. Add flavoring to milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Fold in one can of Angel Flake Coconut. Start in cold oven in stem pan and bake about 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. coconut flavoring

Mix and boil sauce 5 minutes. Pour over cake in pan while still hot. Let cool before removing from pan.
