COCONUT POUND CAKE | |
2 1/2 c. sugar 2 sticks, softened butter 2/3 c. shortening 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 5 eggs 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. coconut flavor 1 tsp. butter flavor 1 can Angel Flake coconut Cream sugar, butter, and shortening. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add eggs to creamed mixture, one at a time; beat well. Add milk and dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in flavors and coconut. Bake in large greased tube pan, in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. |
