STEWED TOMATOES 
1 qt. canned tomatoes, or 4 c. peeled and chopped fresh tomatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 chopped bell pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring often. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
