MARYLAND LADY CRAB CAKES 
1 lb. crabmeat
1 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 lg. egg
Approx. 1/4 c. lite mayonnaise
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt (opt.)
1/4 tsp. pepper
butter, butter or oil for frying

Remove all cartilage from crabmeat. In bowl, mix bread crumbs, egg, mayo and seasonings. Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly. If mix is too dry, add little more mayo. Shape into 6 to 10 cakes, as you like. Cook cakes in fry pan in only enough fat to prevent sticking, until brown, about 8 minutes on each side.
