3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. red food coloring
2 (4 3/4 oz.) jars Gerbers strained plums
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. cloves
1 c. pecans
Lemon juice

Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs, food coloring, vanilla and plums. Mix this well. Sift flour, soda, salt, cloves and cinnamon together. Mix with liquid mixture. Add nuts. Bake in tube pan for one hour at 325 degrees.

GLAZE:

Mix 1 cup powdered sugar with enough lemon juice to pour over warm cake.
