CURRY POWDER PICKLES | |
1 gal. sliced cucumbers 4 onions 1 qt. vinegar and water 3 c. white sugar 1 tsp. curry powder 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. mixed spices 6 sweet red peppers Soak cucumbers in salt water overnight. Do not pare. Drain. Slice onions and add to cucumbers. Add remainder of ingredients and cook 15 minutes. Can the pickles. Makes 3 quarts. |
