FOOTBALL STEW | |
1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cut up 1 med. onion 5 carrots, sliced 5 potatoes, sliced 1 c. celery 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 2 (12 oz.) cans V-8 juice Salt & pepper to taste Put meat in large casserole dish. Add layer of carrots, onions, potatoes and celery. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sugar and flour mixed together. Pour V-8 over top. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. |
