MRS. B.'S FOOTBALL CRUNCH 
4 c. assorted bite-size cereal squares
1 c. peanuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c butter
1/2 c. Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, reg. or lite
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In large shallow roasting pan combine cereal and peanuts.

In a 2 quart saucepan combine syrup, butter, sugar and cinnamon. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat. Without stirring, boil 2 minutes. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat well.

Bake 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Turn out onto waxed paper-lined tray, breaking apart cereal as it cools. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 5 cups.
