GRANDMA ASLAGSON'S VEGETABLE
SOUP
 
1 lg. soup bone
1/4 lb. stew meat, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. diced carrots
1 c. diced potatoes
1 c. diced turnips
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. rice or barley

Boil soup bone and stew meat until tender. Let simmer 2 hours. Add the rest of ingredients. Slow cook for 1 hour.
