CHERRY COCONUT SQUARES 
SHELL:

1 c. flour
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter

Mix all ingredients together into dough, and press into 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

FILLING:

2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut into quarters

Mix all ingredients together well. Pour into prepared crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into squares when partially cooled.
