CHERRY CHERRY `N OAT SQUARES 
1 1/4 c. old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Combine oats, butter and sugar; press onto bottom of greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Blend in egg. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until set. Spread pie filling over cream cheese mixture; continue baking 15 minutes. Chill.
