SAUSAGE CORN BREAD | |
1 lb. sausage (hot) 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn 3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. oil 2 c. grated cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brown sausage and onion, drain. Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil. Pour half of batter in greased 10 1/2 inch skillet. Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese. Add rest of batter. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. |
