STRAWBERRY PARTY PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. water
6 c. strawberries

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt, slowly stir in water and 2 cups strawberries. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, and mashing strawberries, until mixture thickens and boils 3 minutes. Cool. Layer 4 cup strawberries in baked pie shell, cut side down. Spoon cooled strawberry glaze over them. Chill 1 hour.
