SPANISH COFFEE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. salad oil
1 beaten egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts (if you like)

Mix together flour, white sugar, brown sugar, salt and nutmeg; mix with salad oil. Reserve 3/4 cup crumbs for topping. Then add to remaining crumb mixture the remaining ingredients. Put in 2 layer pans or one 8 x 12 inch pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
