MANDARIN JELLO SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange Jello
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 1/2 c. hot water
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Let set until cool. Put in refrigerator until syrupy. It doesn't take long. When it gets thick enough fold in Cool Whip. Add pineapple and mix until you can't see the Cool Whip. Last, add the mandarin oranges and pour into mold.

Just like mom used to make. I don't like cottage cheese in jello so this is perfect. I used the pineapple juice instead of water.
