BANANA SPLIT PIE 
1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 or 4 bananas, cut into slices
1 can of crushed pineapple, drained
1 reg. container Cool Whip
3 or 4 maraschino cherries (optional)
Chopped nuts (optional)
1 (9 inch) graham cracker pie crust

Slice a layer of banana and place in the bottom of the pie crust. Melt the stick of butter and add with the powdered sugar. Mix until thick and pour over the bananas. Slice another layer of bananas and place on top of the mixture. Place drained pineapple and top with Cool Whip followed by nuts and cherries. Refrigerate.
