BETTY'S BUTTERHORNS 
12 oz. carton cottage cheese
2 sticks real butter
2 c. flour
Dash of salt

Cream butter and cottage cheese. Add flour and salt. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll each part in circle on floured board. Cut circle into 12 wedges. Roll into butter horns starting the roll at wide end and rolling to point.

Place on greased cookie sheets and bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost. To make frosting: 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. milk

Mix all ingredients together, adjusting amount of milk to make a frosting of spreading consistency. The recipe makes 36 butter horns. These will melt in your mouth.
