1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
Dash salt
2 c. raw peanuts
8 drops red food color
1/4 c. white Karo
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. powdered sugar

Place first 6 ingredients (in order given) into 2 quart glass container with lids. Not necessary to stir. Cover and cook on high 5 minutes. Stir well and cook 4 more minutes. Take out and add last 2 ingredients. Stir and drop by spoonful onto wax paper that has been placed on several layers of newspapers. Cool and eat.
