I've made this recipe twice now and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite desserts! The crust is soft, chewy, and buttery with a great caramelized sweetness to it. The apples are soaked in the syrup and have been tenderized nicely by the time you're ready to eat them. The cinnamon and nutmeg are perfect for this dessert. It is easy to make and delicious to eat! I would highly recommend this recipe to any apple lover!
