LOUISIANA HOT CHICKEN WINGS 
2 c. (4 sticks) butter
6 tbsp. hot sauce (not Tabasco unless you want super hot)
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. hot pepper sauce (or 2 tbsp. more if not so hot sauce)
2 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
1 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crumbled
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, crumbled
1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
24 chicken wings, cut in half, disregard tips

Melt butter in heavy medium saucepan. Add remaining ingredients except chicken and simmer 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange chicken wings in ovenproof glass baking dish. Brush generously with sauce. Bake 15 minutes. Brush again. Continue baking until crisp, 15 to 20 minutes. Reheat sauce. Serve immediately and dip in sauce as desired.
