SAUSAGE OR HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. sausage or ground beef
1 c. finely chopped green pepper
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 1/2 c. chopped celery (coarsely chopped)
2 (2 1/8 oz.) pkgs. chicken noodle soup mix
4 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. melted butter

Brown meat in large skillet; pour off excess fat. Add green pepper, onion and 1 cup celery and cook until tender. Combine soup mix and boiling water in large saucepan; stir in rice. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender. Add meat mixture and salt. Stir well. Pour into greased baking dish about 12"x8"x2" and drizzle with melted butter. Bake in moderate oven, 375 degrees, for 20 minutes.
