CARAMEL CORN 
3 qt. popped corn
1 1/3 c. mixed nuts
2/3 c. almonds
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine syrup, sugar and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Continue boiling for 10 minutes or until it turns a light caramel color.

Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts. Mix and spread out on cookie sheets to dry. Break apart. This is a soft caramel corn. I leave out the nuts for the kids but adults love them.
