HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
Cover bottom of casserole with 1 layer of sliced raw potatoes. Flavor each layer with salt and pepper. Next, add a layer of sliced raw onions, over these 1 cup cooked rice. Fourth layer is hamburger steak spread thick or thin, your preference. Over this pour one pint of cooked tomatoes. Cover and bake in moderate oven until potatoes are done, approximately 1 hour.

You may substitute 1 cup cooked noodles for cooked rice.
