SHRIMP GIVETSI 
2 lb. lg. shrimp (shelled & deveined)
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. scallions, chopped
1 1/2 c. wine
1/2 lb. macaroni shells
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp. pepper
Salt
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

In large saucepan, saute shrimp in 1 stick of butter over moderately high heat until they turn pink. Stir in onion, mushrooms and scallions. Saute mixture for 7 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Transfer shrimp with slotted spoon to a dish and keep warm. Add wine to pan and bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni and cook 15 minutes. You may need to add more wine at this point. Stir in tomatoes with their juice and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes. Return shrimp to pan and heat. Salt to taste. Sprinkle on cheese and pour the remaining stick of butter, melted. Heat until deep golden color over mixture.
