CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE 
1 stick butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour (self-rising)

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add flour; mix well. Add syrup, vanilla and beat until mixed (by hand). Pour into well greased 13"x9"x2" pan. Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Do not over bake.

ICING: Mix butter, sugar and milk in saucepan, bring to a boil on medium heat. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, beat thoroughly. Do not cool. Pour over hot cake.
