CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add 4 eggs, one at a time. Add flour and chocolate syrup. Mix well. Add vanilla. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake cake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Put all ingredients in pan and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Pour over warm cake.
