CINNAMON APPLE CRUNCH 
5 c. Kellogg's Crispix cereal
1/2 c. walnut halves or pieces
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. coarsely cut, dried apples

1. Combine cereal and walnuts in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Pour melted butter over cereal mixture while stirring. Stir together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cereal mixture, stirring to coat evenly.

2. Bake in preheated 250 degree F. oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Gently stir in apples. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Makes about 6 cups.

HALLOWEEN CRUNCH:

Use peanuts in place of walnuts. Stir in 1/2 cup candy corn with apples.
