SWEET & SOUR PORK 
2 lb. lean pork cubes
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. green pepper strips
1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
2 tbsp. oil
1 (#2) can pineapple chunks
3 to 4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Rice
Chow mein noodles

Brown pork in hot oil; add water, cover and cook for 1 hour. Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Combine sugar, pineapple syrup, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce and salt (to taste). Cook over low heat until thick. Pour over pork. Add onion and pepper strips; cook until tender. Add pineapple chunks last 10 minutes of cooking time. Serve over hot rice with heated noodles and soy sauce.
