2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 c. dark or golden raisins
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. flaked coconut
8 chopped maraschino cherries

Beat egg whites with salt until stiff and gradually beat in sugars. Fold in raisins, vanilla, oats, coconut, and cherries. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto unglazed paper on baking sheet. Bake in slow oven (300 degrees) 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from paper with spatula at once. Makes 3 dozens kisses.
