STEW BRAISED TIPS | |
1 1/2 lbs. stew meat 1 sm. onion 4 carrots (sm. pieces) 1 c. mushrooms or 1 can 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 2 cans tomato sauce 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic salt Brown meat (small pieces). Mix meat and all other ingredients in large casserole dish and cook for 1/2 hour, uncovered at 350 degrees. Cover and steam until meat and carrots are tender (about 1 hour). Serve over rice or noodles. Serves 6. You can also place everything in a crock pot on low for 8 hours. |
