CLAMS OREGANO 
1/2 stick butter
1 green pepper, minced
1 tbsp. oregano
4 cloves garlic
1/2 bunch fresh chopped parsley
Juice of 1/2 lemon
4 cans minced clams
3/4 c. flavored bread crumbs

Saute first 5 ingredients until soft. Cook next two ingredients in small saucepan for 15 minutes on medium heat. Combine the 2 mixtures; add crumbs; sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes until bubbly. Keeps well for leftovers. Reheat and serve with Melba toast or crackers.
