FRESH ORANGE GELATIN CAKE 
1 pkg. (reg. size) yellow or white cake mix
1 pkg. 93 oz.) orange gelatin
3/4 c. salad oil
Juice of 1 orange
Water
3 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 tsp. granulated sugar
4 eggs

Add dry orange gelatin to cake mix and mix well. Add teaspoon of sugar to juice of 1 orange; add water to juice to make 3/4 cup liquid; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add grated orange rind. Add oil and juice mixture to cake mix and gelatin; add eggs, one at a time and stir until well blended.

Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Let cake cool in pan for 5 to 10 minutes before turning out on a cake plate. The cake does not need a frosting but if you wish one, make it buttercream, using orange juice for the liquid and adding a bit of grated orange rind.
