Use leaves, ferns, flower blooms, clover, etc. Wet the shell of a raw egg. Stick design on egg and wrap it with crepe paper. (Use red, green, blue or purple for best results.) Then wrap the entire egg with onion skins. Wrap the egg again with old sheeting tying the sheeting tightly to the egg. Make sure the egg is tied tightly as not come apart when boiled.
Place eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. Do not boil, reduce heat to simmer and let simmer for 20 minutes. Let eggs completely cool before unwrapping the sheeting, skins and flower blooms. These eggs last for years and each has a different design and color. Try your talents at this fun craft. Easy and inexpensive. NOTE: Use either the crepe paper or the onion skins. Not both.
