1 c. golden Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all ingredients. Shape into 1" balls and roll in colored sugar, or cinnamon and sugar. Flatten with a glass. Bake on a greased sheet at 375 degrees until done.
