OLD WAY TO COLOR EASTER EGGS 
This is the old-school method for coloring Easter eggs using natural colors and not those store-bought food coloring tubes! Just the thing if you want to color your eggs without a trip to the store!

boiled eggs, suitable for coloring
hot water
white vinegar (1 tbsp. per cup water)

Place eggs in a saucepan, then cover with water. Add a tablespoon of white vinegar for each cup of water used and one of the items listed.

NATURAL COLORS:

~ pinkish red - use fresh beets
~ orange - use yellow onion skins
~ yellow - use ground turmeric
~ pale green - use spinach leaves
~ blue - use canned blueberries
~ beige to brown - use strong brewed coffee
~ brown-orange - use chili powder
