STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 baked 9-inch pie shell

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. dry strawberry gelatin
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
Red food coloring

Cook glaze until thick; add red food coloring to make glaze a bright red. Cool slightly and pour over strawberries. Top with Cool Whip or other dessert topping and garnish with several strawberries on top, if desired. Cool thoroughly (overnight) before serving.
