DINNER ROLLS 
1 1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. of dry yeast
2 tbsp. soft shortening
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour, sifted

Dissolve yeast in water. Add shortening, salt, sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour. Beat with electric mixer on medium for 2 minutes. Add remaining flour and stir for 1 minute.

Cover and put in draft free place. Let rise until double. Stir down. Shape into rolls. Put in greased pan and let rise until light (approximately 2 hours).

Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
