SALISBURY STEAK 
2 cans beefy mushroom soup
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/8 tsp. pepper and salt

Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion and pepper and salt. Shape into small patties. Brown on both sides, then drain off fat.

Stir in the remaining soup after mixing with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes and stir occasionally. If use 2 pounds of hamburger use 3 cans soup. Goes well with boiled potatoes, or rice.
