RELISH 
4 c. ground onions
4 c. ground green tomatoes
2 red peppers, ground
4 c. ground cabbage
12 green peppers, ground

Sprinkle 1/2 cup salt over vegetables and let stand overnight. Rinse and drain next day.

BRINE:

6 c. sugar
4 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
