TIJUANA TORTE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. chopped onion
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Flour tortillas, cut into strips
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. sour cream

Brown beef and onion in pan; add other ingredients, except cheese, sour cream, and tortilla strips. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Place 1/3 of meat mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Add a layer of cheese, then a layer of tortilla strips. Repeat. Spread sour cream over this layer. Spread last layer of meat sauce and cover with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Serves 6 to 8. Yummy!
