COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 stick butter

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks, alternately add flour and milk. Fold in beaten whites. Pour in pan add topping dot with butter. Bake 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes.
